Lucid dreaming is the ability to control your dreams consciously, which is the message conveyed in this piece. Hot air balloons are often a symbol of dreams and, in this piece, the skeleton structure of hot air balloon suggests that dreams can exist in any form, even incompletion or distortion. The canvas covered by plaster represents a wall: by bending the balloon to trespass the wall, I demonstrated that dreams have no shape and can pass through any challenge.
